Terms of Service

By accessing or using SendURL ("Service", "we", "us", "our") at sendurl.to or any subdomain thereof, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

These Terms apply to all visitors, guest users, and registered account holders.

SendURL is a free URL shortening and link analytics platform. It allows you to:

• Create short URLs that redirect to any destination URL.
• Track click analytics for each short link, including click count, geographic location, device type, browser, operating system, and referrer source.
• Manage and organise your links via a web-based console at console.sendurl.to.

Guest users may create a limited number of short links without registering. Registered users receive additional features including link management, full analytics history, and a higher link quota.

To access the full Service, you must create an account using a valid email address and password. Account authentication is handled via AWS Cognito. You are responsible for:

• Keeping your credentials confidential.
• All activity that occurs under your account.
• Notifying us immediately at hi@sendurl.to if you suspect unauthorised access.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

You agree not to use the Service to shorten URLs that:

• Link to malware, phishing pages, ransomware, or other malicious content.
• Distribute spam or unsolicited commercial messages.
• Violate any applicable law or regulation, including but not limited to laws governing intellectual property, privacy, and consumer protection.
• Contain or promote illegal content, including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), content that incites violence, or content that constitutes harassment or abuse.
• Circumvent security controls or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system.
• Impersonate SendURL or any other person or entity.

We reserve the right to disable or delete any link that violates these Terms without prior notice. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or termination.

Guest links are short URLs created without a registered account. They are subject to the following:

• A single guest link can be created per browser session.
• Guest links are associated with an anonymous session token stored in your browser's local storage, not with any personal account.
• You may claim a guest link into a registered account by signing up or logging in from the same session.
• Guest links are subject to a click limit equal to the free plan's per-link limit.
• We do not guarantee the permanent availability of unclaimed guest links.

The free plan includes access to the core Service at no cost, with the following limits (subject to change with notice):

• Up to 100 tracked short links per account.
• A per-link click limit as displayed in the console.
• Full click analytics on all links.

We do not currently charge for the Service. We do not store any payment information. If paid plans are introduced in the future, existing free-plan users will be given advance notice.

The SendURL brand, logo, website design, and underlying software are the intellectual property of SendURL. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written permission.

You retain ownership of all destination URLs and content you link to. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process your link data solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described therein.

Click analytics data — including approximate geographic location, device type, browser, OS, and referrer — is collected automatically for every click on a short link you create. This data is associated with your link and is visible to you in the analytics dashboard.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We are not responsible for the content of any destination URL, nor for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SendURL and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising out of your access to or use of the Service.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us at hi@sendurl.to.

Upon termination, your short links may cease to function and your data may be deleted after a reasonable retention period.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users and/or a notice on the website. Continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the relevant courts.
